She holds a PhD in Synthetic Biology from Imperial College London and the University of Hong Kong, for which she received a merit-based grant to develop cancer-fighting biological nanobots. She was a venture capital investor at SOSV, the most active global early-stage fund, where she helped fund and build over two dozen life sciences startups. Dr. Elsa Solaris is not only a renowned scientist and investor, but also a passionate writer and storyteller.
